It started withone dog.
DoTimely was not built from a market gap. It was built from an afternoon somebody would rather forget.
DoTimely was born from an incident that affected my friend's dog, Max. Max was left unattended for two days while my friend was out of town. The pet sitter was not using any tools — just pen, paper, and a personal calendar — and the appointment fell through the cracks.
I was struck by how many businesses were still working that way. My research into the industry did not turn up anything that was both modern and affordable, so we built it.
DoTimely is scheduling and communication for the pet industry, with the core available for free, so that fewer days end the way that one did.
